Dr. Benak specializes in general surgery. Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Benak is highly trained and experienced in the most advanced surgical procedures used today. He has been providing care at Walton Regional Medical Center for the last 9 years and is a fellow of the College of Surgeons.

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Benak received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his Residency with Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
